Sometimes disaster strikes. Data can be lost due to many different reasons. Accidental reformatting, power spikes, boot process failure, virus attacks and hardware malfunction are some of the scenarios where you will find yourself looking for a data recovery solution.

In the event of data loss DO NOT PANIC as this can affect you making the right choice. Firstly STOP the computer and switch off, this is to prevent any further damage to the hard disk drive and your valuable data. Do NOT recommend running repair utilities such as Chkdsk, Scandisk or Norton as this can result in further irrepairable damage to your valuable data.

Data recovery services should be considered if you can not gain access to user data under normal circumstances please do not attempt data recovery yourself as this may compound the problem or in the worst situation render the media and data unrecoverable.

What can we recover? Generally we can only guarantee to recover your data files whether they are documents, spreadsheets or photographs (pictures). We can sometimes recover from a virus attack and keep your Operating System (OS) and applications intact. However, if the damage renders the operating system inoperable, this can only be replaced with you supplying your original Windows Operating CD and key or buy purchasing new.

Our service starts with a non-destructive assessment as to the extent of the damaged media free of cost. We will then contact you with a list of the recoverable files, you then decide if you wish to proceed based on our estimate.

We have a 'no data no fee' policy.

Standard data recovery services is within 3-5 working days.

We have three levels of service:

• Option 1: Data file recovery to existing hard disk. This would require you to supply the original Operating System CD or purchase a new one. A disadvantage to this is that if there is valuable data that cannot initially be retrieved it would be lost once the available data files and OS has been restored.
  

• Option 2: Data file recovery to a new hard disk. This would require you to supply the original Operating System CD or purchase a new one. The main advantage of this is that the original hard disk can be preserved should further recovery be possible or necessary.
  

• Option 3:Data file recovery to CD or DVD backup only. The original hard disk can be preserved should further recovery be possible or necessary.
  

The major difference in the cost of these three services is that for option 2 you will have the additional cost of a new hard disk. This may also be necessary if your hard disk is physically damaged.
